SantaFe.com and City of Santa Fe announce the opening act of the 2012 Santa Fe Winter Fiesta. Festivities for the Santa Fe Winter Fiesta start with the 10th Anniversary Extravaganza celebration concert of Santa Fe band D Numbers. D Numbers is an amazing live musical group with a unique cool sound coming from live instruments weaved into intricate web loops, samples and digital harmony. Tickets to the D Numbers concert, which is being held in downtown Santa Fe Farmers Market Pavilion, are $ 20 or $ 10 with a Winter Fiesta Adventure Pass. The pass cost is $ 10 and entitles holders to discounts to all Santa Fe Winter Fiesta Events, including $ 10 off the $ 20 ticket price of the Jan. 27 D Numbers concert. Pass holders can take advantage of discounts to all Santa Winter Fiesta events. The Santa Fe Winter Fiesta is a 10-day event, beginning with the D Numbers show and capping off with a Super Bowl Party and concert hosted by Santa Fes famous Cowgirl BBQ restaurant on Feb. 5.
The Santa Fe Winter Fiesta is Co-Sponsored by The Santa Fe Reporter, the Coca-Cola Bottling company, Heineken, The Agave Lounge at the Eldorado Hotel, and by Chalmers Capitol Ford Lincoln Mercury. The event is brought in part by local car dealer Sierra Santa Fe Buick GMC and by the Museum of New Mexico Foundation. Local participating Santa Fe businesses include La Fonda De Santa Fe, The Five and Dime General Store, and Santa Fe Mountain Sports.
